BMW shows upgrades, engines Friday, July 23, 2010 Power upgrades, efficiency gains and cosmetic enhancements across the BMW range were showcased at the brand's recent 2010 Model Year update in Ireland. The event saw the addition of a brand new engine variant to the 5-series range, the 520d Saloon which will be their volume seller, as well as the mid-life update of the X5. The average fleet consumption of BMW cars is now 5.9 L/100kms. Other models due shortly are the Touring version of the 5-series in September, and the new X3. The day was also used to mark the 25th birthday of the BMW M3. |
