Fiat to extend use of Twinair Friday, July 23, 2010 The new 2-cylinder engine coming in September in the Fiat 500 will find its way to other models in the Fiat group. The 900cc turbocharged unit will be available in 64/84/105hp versions. Performance from the engine is similar to 1.4 normally aspirated units, but with a claimed 30 percent improvement in fuel consumption and emissions. The engine is also likely to be exported to other brands owned by Fiat. |
